This is the timeless Machine Age Empire cocktail shaker designed by William Archibald Welden for Revere circa 1938.
You will see it on the cover of Stephen Visakay's book "Vintage Bar Ware" complete with original spout cap and finial. The body of the shaker is a chrome cylinder leading up to the top that features the Catalin/Bakelite pour spout cover and the majestic finial.
It stands 12 1/2" high with no dings, dents, splits or loss of chrome.
The chrome finish has some imperfections. May be from water spots left too long on the chrome surface. We have tried to capture these in our photos. Please look closely at all photos & contact us with questions.
Nevertheless, this rare Art Deco piece is one of the iconic shakers and is almost impossible to find.
This shaker will be the centerpiece in your collection display.
Black areas and gray/black loops are reflections and are not on the shaker (Chrome is very difficult for me to photograph. Sorry)
